Archived System Update
The system goes down for maintenance very early in the morning every day to avoid the issues we’ve had with memory overflow. Once the new RAM is installed, the maintenance schedule will lighten up.

Panic At Work. Snow.
Yesterday was a lot of fun. Everything seemed to blow up at once. Plus, a few choice marketeers decided to change a handful of swats that had already been completed and marked for testing. You gotta love incompetence.
We got 6 to 10 inches of snow on Sunday. Nice foot-high drifts complicated things further. Although it’s fun to drive in, it’s no fun to clean up. I can’t wait for the weather to break. I’m jones-ing to work on my car. I’m ready for race season to start… and I’m ready to get married. I just want things to start moving again. The winter season slows everything to a crawl. It just leaves time to work, eat, and sleep.

Frozen pipes. Waterfall at work. Kacey is clumsy.
Wow! Pipes are freezing everywhere! Brad went out of town on Friday at 3 p.m. At 5 p.m. his neighbor left a note on his door to let him know that water was flowing from the side of his house. Brad got home Sunday, approx. 48 hours after the pipe blew.
I arrived to work this morning to find the front entrance blocked off by hazard tape. Apparently the pipes for our fire suppression system froze and they met a similar fate to Brad’s plumbing. The entire lobby was flooded, water poured freely from the 3-story ceiling. Hopefully, we’ll have some pictures to post soon.
Long story short: Kacey and I were playing in the yard on Thursday, she slipped and yelped. I thought she hurt her leg. Friday, she was still uncomfortable. I panicked and rushed her to the vet. The vet checked her out. Everything is fine. (She’s no longer favoring that leg, BTW.) Plus she got her shots out of the way for the season.

New Safari version. Snow.
Augh!Apple released a new version of their Safari browser. The last release they fixed a
issue prevalent in most KHTML and Gecko-based browsers. With this latest release the problem is back. I’m submitting a bug to them now.
I can’t take this snow! Just enough that I have to shovel it, but not enough to have some fun with a sled. Arg!

Archived System Update
There is now a link to Rogerbox merchandise in the left-hand menu. The photos from our first show (with lineup #2) are up now, too. When I have a chance, I’ll write some info on the current status of the band. The official site is still there, but I haven’t finished it yet. (I got started, then we re-arranged the band.)
