It’s nice to be surprised… like finding a dollar in your pocket… or the doggie bag from your favorite restaurant in the fridge the next morning. I forgot that during the holidays, the Etcetera logo and background get a special treatment. Cool.

The Leinninger.com server has been the target of several much needed upgrades. The RAM has been doubled, a better network card (more reliable) has been installed, and a video-in interface has been added for the cameras. As a result, the Randomcam is back online. A script has not been created to switch camera sources on a timer… yet… but I will be working on in the future.

While attending Wayne State University, studying Interdisciplinary Electronic Art, I created The Freakshow. It’s an amusing collection of distractions made with Quicktime VR and Shockwave (with Lingo). Keep in mind this was all done around 1997. It was all quite cutting edge at the time. Enjoy.

I just found out about a very cool legacy meta tag… the “ICBM” meta tag. Basically, it’s your latitude and longitude as a carry-over from the arpanet military network strategy. It’s used by GeoURL to physically locate your site in relationship to others. What’s near this site?
